Q.A.B.U. goes feral: Quantic Antics of the Borderless Underground
Constant invites Quantics Antics of the Borderless Underground (Q.A.B.U.), a fictional exploration of resistance from humans and more-than-humans to the (in)visible forms of violence that we call “borders”, To participate in this year’s feral festival edition.
Borders grow in all directions, and so does resistance, spreading through city networks beneath our feet, hidden in plain sight, and materialising in the most unexpected creatures and places.
During this workshop, the aim will be to craft a language made of signs, symbols and sonic traces through the making of stencils that will then be used to turn urban surfaces into dimensional portals. We encourage participants to bring their smartphone, headphones and something to print on like, t-Shirts or bags.
Practical information
You can subscribe to the workshop during the festival.
The sessions will be held in French and English.
About feral
Feral is a festival that reflects on today’s urgent political and social issues, and how artists take them into their hands. It is a programme of artistic interventions and encounters that uses art to influence everyday life in Brussels. Feral can take place on a boat, on a farm, in a swimming pool or an old monastery. Feral is urban, interstitial, peripheral and feral.
