SuPi8

The SuPi8 is a digital camera ... but built inside a Super8 camera. More precisely, it is a digital sensor connected to a Raspberry Pi, stuck inside a 8mm or Super8 camera.

From November 19 to 21, Constant is organizing a 3-day workshop where we will build cameras from scratch, experiment with their design and film SuPi8 images. The idea is to develop a small, inexpensive amateur camera that is easy to adapt and uses little energy because it will not have a monitor. Instead, we use the optical viewer of the analog camera.

The videos and cameras produced during the workshop will be on display in the Constant window until January 13, 2019.
You’re welcome to take a look and talk with the workshop participants during the opening on Thursday 22 November 2018 at 18:00.

The exhibit is on until 13 January 2019.
