Regulating Impulses was an experimental site-specific walk along the General Police Regulations of the Brussels’ neighborhood Ixelles. In this walk we mirrored movements and actions from the official regulations, describing how to use public space. Wearing low-tech attachments, DIY plug-ins, and improvised extensions we employed our feet as sound- and image producing help devices. The data we produced and captured while walking, informed us about our pending position as pedestrians, curious explorers, being bodily present, analytically observing.
