elpueblodechina aka Alejandra Perez Nuñez is a sound artist and a performer working with open source tools, electronic wiring and essay writing. In collaborative projects with Barcelona based group Redactiva, she worked on psychogeography and social science fiction projects developing narratives related to the mapping of collective imagination. She received a MA in Media Design at the Piet Zwart Institute in 2005, and has worked with V2_ organisation, Rotterdam. She is currently based in Valparaiso, Chile where she is developing a practice related to appropriation, civil society and self mediation through electronic media. http://www.elpueblodechina.org

elpueblodechina aka Alejandra Perez Nuñez is een geluids- en performance kunstenares die zich bezig houdt met open source software, electronische bekabeling en het schrijven van essays. In collaboratieve projecten met de in Barcelona gevestigde groep Redactiva werkte ze aan psychogeographische en sociale science fiction projecten die verhaalstructuren relateerden aan het in kaart brengen van collectieve verbeelding. Ze haalde een MA in Media Design aan het Piet Zwart Instituut in 2005 en werkte met V2 in Rotterdam. Ze woont in Valparaiso in Chili waar ze een werkpraktijk ontwikkelt rondom humane samenlevingen, toeëigening en zelf-mediatie door middel van electronische media. http://www.elpueblodechina.org

elpueblodechina aka Alejandra Perez Nuñez est une artiste sonore et une performeuse qui travaille avec des outils open source, le cablage électronique et qui écrit des essais. En collaboration avec le groupe Redactiva, basé à Barcelona, elle travaille sur la psychogéographie et sur des projets de science fiction sociale qui développent des narrations liées à la cartographie de l'imaginaire collectif. Elle est diplômée d'un MA en Media Design au Piet Zwart Institute en 2005, et a travaillé avec l'organisation V2_, à Rotterdam.
